YOSHITOMO NARA/ SELF

Published to mark three decades of his artistic activity, this collection contains approximately 100 works selected by Yoshitomo Nar a himself, including new paintings. Most of his works depict a single, seemingly innocuous subject, often pastel-hued, large-eyed ch ildren or stylised animals. The looks that characterise many of his child-like subjects are especially peculiar, appearing at once m ischievous, irritated, or accusatory.
